When I tell people I’m a caterer, the most common response from them is “Do you enjoy the work?”
I absolutely adore it.

I get to work with my greatest love, food.
I get to cook and create.
I’m able to learn and experiment.
I’m able to eat.
But more than that, what I love most about being a caterer is the incredible people I meet and work with, and the amazing places I get to cook.
In 3 weeks time, you dear friends will be able to join me at one such place, with some such people.

On Sunday March 26th my good friends at Beresford Estate and I, are coming together to bring you a deliciously personal experience that if you love food and you love wine and you love to indulge yourself, you should absolutely add to your mad-March calendar…

Beresford Homestead, arguably one of McLaren Vale’s most regal homesteads will be opening its doors for us to enjoy an afternoon together of eating, drinking, laughter, learning and fun.
Allow me to set the scene, so you can now picture yourself there.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by a glass of wine, and me.
You will be casually seated in their glorious, sun drenched Grenache Plaza, all the while nibbling on local almonds and olives and drinking yet more wine.
I will entertain and teach you two of my favourite canapé recipes which you will then devour freshly made.
We will laugh, we will eat, and we will be merry.

It will also be intimate. A 30 guest only setting.

After an hour or so getting aquainted over my masterclass canapés, we will then make our way into the stunning Gallery Room.
With interesting art adorning every wall, and a spectacular vista overlooking the vines with the stunning tasting pavilion in the distance, we will sit at a fully styled long table together where you will then be treated to a fabulous three course meal created and cooked especially by me, for you.
The incredible team from Beresford will be there to ensure your glass is never empty and I will be there to host and dine with you.

Think my antipasti plate with housemade piadina bread, think my hand made gnocchi with a rich slow cooked ragu along with my handmade free-range chicken ballotine and seasonal sides. Finished of course with a decadent dessert. All the while perfectly matched to Beresford’s award winning wines.

Beresford and I have one agenda only on this delicious day, to utterly spoil you.
To spend an afternoon with you that you won’t forget.

If you want to join us for this incredible event, please call James and his team at the Beresford tasting Pavilion on (08) 8182 1890.
Tickets are $150.00 per guest, and are extremely limited at under twenty seats left.

We can’t wait to share this delectable day with you, and I absolutely cannot wait to cook for you in this glorious venue.
