I have one question for you?
Why in Hells name would you buy some sub-standard cranberry sauce full of God knows what, when you can make one so easily, you’ll actually die from shock at just how easy it is…?
Note to everyone: You won’t actually die.
Follow my recipe, and you’ll be the undisputed hero of the Christmas buffet, saving one taste bud at a time from a jarred bomb of Cranberry sauce hideousness. It will also last in the fridge for weeks, so you can enjoy it long after Saint Nick has flown back to his North Pole digs.
MAKES 2 CUPS:
500gms Dried Cranberries
1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
3 cups Water
1 sprig of Rosemary - chopped
1 tsp Salt
1 tbs Caster Sugar
- Place all the ingredients into a saucepan. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for around 60 minutes or until reduced right down and thickened. Place into a sterilized jar and keep in the fridge. It will last for weeks. Merry Christmas!
